X2O Media and West Virginia University Info Stations

After an exhaustive 9-month discussion and many meetings with X2O Media personnel (out of Montreal, Canada), our WVU Information Station team made the recommendation to senior WVU administrators that we change our digital signage software platform.  Our WVU digital signage network was created four years earlier and a decision to switch software platforms was not taken lightly.  Not only did X2O Media come to Morgantown on several occasions, they worked faithfully with us as we beta tested the X2O XPresenter software for several months to be assured the software would perform as we needed and expected… especially in the area of our WVU Emergency Alert features for all 70 of our digital signs on three campuses.  (See West Virginia University Customer profile via X2O Media below.)

Once we made the purchase, our WVU Info Stations team flew to beautiful Montreal, Canada for a three day training session that was very well presented by their excellent support staff.  We learned quickly and efficiently with their kind instruction.  The Xpresenter software platform is well built, extremely robust and fairly intuitive once you understand what you want to do with your content creation.  I was very impressed with the Montreal headquarters and professional staff, but more importantly with how their professionals encouraged our questions and swarmed to solve some of our unique issues in how we wanted to use the XPresenter software.

Upon our return to West Virginia University our 70+ digital sign network has made leaps and bounds with stunning content creation by our in-house staff of creative designers.  We have enjoyed an ongoing mutual dialog with their senior management and developers to discuss not only our own specific needs but even future features that might leverage the power of XPresenter in the future.  These folks know digital signage and know how to make content jump off the signage to get attention.  I encourage anyone considering a digital signage network, whether it is one digital sign or 70 digital signs, to look at the X2O Media XPresenter technology… and crank-up your volume when you watch the YouTube video!
